Royal National
Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
The RNLI is funded entirely by voluntary contributions.
Their lifeboats at Kyle
of Lochalsh, Mallaig and Portree save the
lives of those who get in to difficultly on the sea

The volunteers that make up this team put themselves

Since 1972 the Isle of Skye Round Table has raised
funds for local and national charities and other
needy causes.
BBC Weather - Portree BBC Weather 24-hour and five-day forecast for the capital of Skye from the Met Office. Actually centred on the weather station at Lusa between Broadford and the Skye Bridge.
